Scott currently leads the 3M global abrasives application engineering team that is focused on engineering of robotic abrasive processes in collaboration with system integrators and end using customers.
He has been with 3M for 41 years within various abrasives related businesses and has held a variety of roles including new product development, technology development, business leadership, acquisition integration, and for the past ten years, application engineering.
Scott has a Bachelors of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Minnesota and is a certified Black Belt in both Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma methodologies.
Scott enjoys playing golf, often with his wife Lisa, when weather or travel allows and his new passion is spending time with his two young grandchildren, Julie and Bradlee.

Nadia BenHamida is the Senior Coatings Material Engineer at Hyundai, with responsibility for North and South American manufacturing plants. Her primary role is quality auditing to ensure production quality, evaluation of new colors for future vehicles and coating development that improves quality and customer perception of Hyundai and Kia vehicles. At Rhetech, she formulated and developed new plastic materials for interior and exterior automotive application. And previously at EAG she developed dry erase coatings widely used today in homes, offices, schools, appliances and other products.
Nadia Benhamida is a global citizen; she received a Chemical engineering degree from North Africa, M.S. Applied Chemistry Engineering degree from Europe and a M.S. degree in Polymers and Coatings Engineering from USA. She enjoys yoga, hiking and traveling. Her philosophy is: “Together we achieve more”.
In the dawn of the 4th industrial revolution the auto industry is being challenged more than ever before; Nadia believes that the response and contribution need to be global involving all stakeholders from public and private sectors to academia and civil society.

• Carl Doeksen is the Global Robotics & Automation Director at 3M Headquarters in St. Paul, MN where he leads teams to accelerate full robotic, and fixed automation, solutions for 3M’s industrial customers around the world. Prior to joining 3M, Carl spent 4 years at Honeywell’s Sensors & Signal Processing Laboratory.
• Carl has a BS in Finance from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from the University of Minnesota, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) as well as a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (DMAIC and DFSS). He has held multiple International Leadership positions for 3M (UK, DE, CN) and has spent most of his career in international operations.
• He’s active in the Robotics Industry, serving on the Board of Directors of the Robotics Industry Association (RIA/A3) as well as the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) Marcom and Suppliers Committees.
• Carl and his wife Kelly have two young daughters and they currently live in Austin

As a leading industry expert in automotive color, Nancy remains at the cutting edge of coatings development in color forecasting as well as enabling the latest developments in color science and product innovation to design colors for the future of the automotive industry. Her passion is to create excitement around coatings color and the impact on global automotive consumer preferences and product innovation.
Her distinguished color career began in color formulation and development at Axalta’s technology center. There, she received hands-on experience designing and applying colors. Her knowledge in coating science and respect for nature have influenced her view into automotive color inspirations.
Nancy leads a team to release Axalta’s global color trend report and Axalta’s Automotive Color of the Year. As an automotive color historian, she has knowledge coatings technologies and trends and works to publish Axalta’s Global Automotive Color Popularity Report. In keeping with today’s mobility trends, innovation and governance around functional coatings and sustainability are in the forefront of her work in color.
Nancy works on sustainability efforts at Axalta in the Mobility group. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and Earth Science from Western Michigan University and is a member of the editorial advisory board for Paint & Coatings magazine.
